DJ Hugo Godoy (Uruguay)
Detangosetrata Tango clothing (Belgium) + Madame Pivot shoes!
DJ HUGO GODOY
"I am Uruguayan, born in the 1950s. As a child, I went with my parents to the milonga. At that time people only danced to orchestras.
I was fascinated to see the musicians play and hear tangos sung. I cherished this in my mind: the atmosphere of the Tango.
The music I am trying to share with you is an emotion that expresses the authenticity of the musical feelings and lyrics of the Rio de la Plata music."
Hugo is a spirited DJ, raising the energy of the dance floor, and reading the mood of the dancers in order to create a memorable evening of Tango.
He DJ's regularly at milongas and festivals across Europe and Uruguay.
Detangosetrata
La Garconne is the house clothing line for tango dancers designed by Sandrina Dh.
As a well know fashion stylist and a tango dancer herself, she managed to associate comfort, fashion and tango in a a-typical line in reinventing the classical tango dresscodes with a unique twist of modernity.
Every piece is produced by belgian artisans, piece by piece with high quality requirements in small brussels clothing factories. Also the typically men tango trousers are done in a Brussels workshop.
